Terms of Service

It’s your ledger, and your responsibility. These terms cover your use of Gravity, published by BlackSpace AI.

By installing or using Gravity you agree to these terms. If you do not, please do not use the app — and delete it, which removes everything it holds.

What Gravity is

Gravity is a tool for recording and understanding money you have already spent or received. It runs entirely on your device. There is no account to create, nothing is uploaded to us, and we hold no copy of anything you enter.

What Gravity is not

Gravity is not a bank, and it is not financial advice. It does not hold, move, or have access to your money, and it is not connected to any bank or payment provider. Figures it shows — including Safe-to-Spend, forecasts, budget warnings and the financial score — are arithmetic performed on the data you entered. They are informational only, not a recommendation or professional opinion, and should not be your only basis for a financial decision. For advice about your finances, speak to a qualified professional.

Your data is yours, and so is keeping it

Everything you record lives on your device, so its survival depends on your device. Deleting the app, losing or resetting the phone, or a device fault will destroy your ledger, and we cannot recover it for you — we never had it. Please use Settings → “Back up everything” regularly and keep the file somewhere safe. You are responsible for your own backups.

Accuracy

Gravity is only as accurate as what it is given. Balances are a running total of what you have logged, not a live reading from your bank, so they will drift from your real balance if entries are missed. Features that fill things in for you — auto-categorising, merchant matching, CSV import and, on Android, reading bank SMS — are best-effort and can be wrong. Check anything that matters.

Using the app

You may use Gravity for your own personal or business record-keeping. Please do not reverse engineer, redistribute or resell the app, use it unlawfully, or attempt to disrupt it or other people’s use of it.

Free and paid features

Gravity’s core — recording expenses, your history, Safe-to-Spend, insights, widgets and backup — is free, and we do not intend to take away features you already rely on. Some additional features may be offered as a paid upgrade (“Gravity Pro”). Where a free trial is offered, its length is stated in the app. Any purchase is made through the Apple App Store, not from us directly: pricing, billing, renewal, cancellation and refunds are handled by Apple under their terms, and refund requests go to Apple. If a subscription lapses, features included in the free tier keep working and your data remains intact and exportable.

Availability and changes

We may update the app, and may change, add or discontinue features. We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date, and continuing to use the app means accepting the updated terms. Gravity is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded — including, in India, your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 2019.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for financial loss, lost data, or indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of Gravity — including decisions made on the basis of figures it displays. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you have paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana have jurisdiction, without affecting mandatory protections available to you where you live.
