Diwali posts for jewellers

Diwali falls on Sunday, 8 November 2026, and Dhanteras two days before is the busiest buying day of a jeweller’s year. The posts that work show your own pieces, beautifully lit — never a pile of gold coins.

Diwali post ideas for jewellers

  1. 01

    One piece, perfectly lit

A single necklace or ring with a real light on it says more than a tray of everything. Let the piece be the Diwali light.

  2. 02

    Dhanteras is its own post

Customers buy gold, silver and utensils on Dhanteras. Post what fits that day in your store — coins, silver pooja items, light everyday gold — a few days before.

  3. 03

    Your collection, by occasion

What a bride, a mother or a first-time buyer would pick this Diwali: one post each, with the pieces you actually stock.

  4. 04

    Your hours and appointments

Extended hours or private appointments for the week? Say so clearly in a post of their own.

  5. 05

    The craft behind it

Kundan setting, polki, filigree, enamel: a close-up of the work earns trust and saves.

What to avoid

  • Piles of gold coins, treasure chests and glitter: the most common jeweller post, and the least trusted.
  • Discounts, “making charges off” or gold rates you have not confirmed for that day.
  • Models’ faces you do not have permission to use.
  • Showing pieces you do not stock.

Questions

When is Dhanteras in 2026?

Dhanteras falls two days before Diwali; Diwali (Lakshmi Puja) is on Sunday, 8 November 2026. Confirm the exact muhurat with your local panchang.

When should a jeweller post for Diwali?

About a week before for the collection, two days before Dhanteras with a reminder, on Dhanteras morning, and on Diwali morning for the greeting.

What makes a jeweller’s Diwali post stand out?

One real piece from your store, lit well, in your brand’s colours. Customers scroll past coin piles because every store posts them.

Should I post gold rates?

Only if they are confirmed for that day. A wrong rate in a post costs more trust than it earns.
